- 27 November 2024 – Main voting day – this is the official election day for most voters. There will be 4,677 polling stations.
- Polling Stations will open from 7 am to 9 pm inside the country and at Namibian diplomatic missions abroad.
- Only those who registered in 2024 and have a voter card from the General Registration of Voters (GRV) can vote.
- For those who have lost or damaged their voter cards, the ECN will issue duplicate cards at all 121 constituency offices from 18 to 26 November 2024. To get a duplicate card, voters need to provide a police affidavit explaining how their card was lost or damaged how and proof of identity (such as an ID or passport).
- Voters must bring their voter card to the polls. No other form of ID will be accepted.
- All accredited observers are encouraged to observe both the special voting and the main election day.
- Spread the word about these voting dates and requirements to make sure everyone is informed and ready.
- Once voting ends, results will be counted at each polling station, and preliminary results will be posted there. Final results will take into account both the special votes and main election day votes.
