Join the Economic Association of Namibia (EAN) for their Annual Conference under the theme of Leveraging the Services Industry for Economic Growth to be held on the 27^th of October 2021  at the Safari Hotel from 08:00 am to 17:00pm. The event will also be live-streamed on the EAN Facebook page.

This year, the EAN Annual Conference will focus on the theme of how the country can harness the potential of the services sector to stimulate the economy and put the country back on a growth trajectory. Given that the sector is one of the largest employers and GDP contributors, the EAN believes that it can be at the forefront of economic recovery, employment creation and poverty alleviation, especially after the crisis caused by Covid-19.

With a focus on the financial sector, tourism, transport and logistics, and the ICT sector, the Conference will bring together policymakers, scholars, financiers, civil society actors, and the general public to exchange ideas and devise strategies and policy recommendations aimed at promoting the sector and unlocking its full potential.
