This month the 1st Southern African Cohort of the International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) will be tackling digitalization and the realities that many face on the African continent. With the digital divide being the backdrop of most of the continent, it is important to confront the challenges whilst embracing the innovative space that is digitalisation whilst nurturing youth engagement and participation.

IPS' activities are mainly political in the form of outreach work additionally they aim to sensitize on political topics whilst promoting democracy; thus, improving relations between Southern Africa and Germany.

IPS will be hosting monthly webinars in collaboration with various partners with the aim of sensitizing young activists and like-minded individuals
