Ecorys on behalf of the EU invites Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Namibia to submit applications for a comprehensive training and mentoring programme. As Namibia navigates the green energy transition, this initiative aims to strengthen the governance, sustainability, and strategic alignment of local CSOs to ensure they can play a leading role in a just and equitable transition.

🌟 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Selected organisations will follow a dynamic training and mentoring programme. The programme offers:

• 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: A facilitated deep-dive analysis to identify specific training and learning needs.

• 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: Access to up to 30 training modules covering thematic areas such as fundraising, financial and organisational management, policy engagement in the green transition, and more.

• 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: Opportunity to join a mentoring programme with industry and CSO experts.

• 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Recognition of completion for organisations attending at least 20 out of the 30 training sessions.

📍 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆

• 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: CSOs with outreach capacities to at least 1 region in Namibia.

• 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲: Organisations committed to governance, environmental sustainability, and social impact.
