Funding Opportunity for Namibian Civil Society Organisations
The European Union has launched a new Call for Proposals to support civil society and human rights work in Namibia.
The overall objective is to strengthen the role of independent civil society in advocating for human rights, democratic governance, civic participation, accountability, and an enabling environment for civil society. Particular emphasis is placed on coalition-building, citizen engagement, and the protection of marginalised and vulnerable groups.
Available funding:
- Lot 1: Civil Society (EUR 900,000–976,000)
- Lot 2: Human Rights (EUR 300,000–350,000)
Applications must be submitted through the EU Funding & Tenders Portal. Concept notes are due by 17 July 2026 at 11:00 Brussels time. For full details and application documents, visit:
