INVITATION to a CSO Workshop:
The Civil Society Organisations Working Group on Land Reform (CSO-WGLR)
C/O - DESK FOR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Namibia (DfSD-ELCRN)
invites civil society organisations (CSOs) and land activists to a Workshop to review progress on the implementation of Resolutions of the 2nd National Land Conference (2nd NLC - October 2018) on Urban Land Reform with special reference to Upgrading of Informal Settlements.
CSOs during their presentations at the 2ndNLC challenged President Dr Hage Geingob to make the improvement of living conditions in informal settlements a legacy of his Presidency.
Almost three years after the 2nd National Land Conference, this workshop will review progress regarding the implementation of the resolutions and formulate proposals from CSOs on the way forward.
