Ministry of Finance releases Citizen's Guide to the National Budget FY2022/23

MoF Citizen's Guide to the National Budget

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) recently released their latest Citizen's Guide to the National Budget FY2022/23 booklet. The 31-page booklet is available in softcopy on their website and as a hardcopy insert in today's, 8 April 2022, Namibian newspaper.

The booklet contains information on:

  1. What is the National Budget?;
  2. Why is the budget important?;
  3. Size of the National Budget;
  4. Distribution of the budget;
  5. Tax policy proposals;
  6. Income tax reforms; and
  7. Sin taxes.

All parts of the booklet are translated to Afrikaans, Damara/Nama, Otjiherero, Otjiwambo, Setswana and Silozi.
