Dear colleagues, following the stakeholder engagement session with the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) yesterday, we’d like to share some key information about the elections. It is encouraged to pass this along in your networks.
On 26 August 2021, the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) issued a media release with the final results of the Katima Mulilo Urban Constituency by-elections in the Zambezi region held on Wednesday, 25 August 2021. Mr Simasiku Kennedy Simasiku was declared duly elected. The total voter turnout was 21%.
On the 20th of August 2021, the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) informed the Namibian public at large that preparations for the Katima Mulilo Urban Constituency by-election are on course.
