The submission deadline for abstracts has been extended to 31 October 2021. Namibians are subject to multiple and intersecting forms of inequality and discrimination. The most obvious of these are inequalities based on income and wealth distribution. While the Gini coefficient shows a reduction in Namibia’s levels of inequality since independence, the country still has one of the highest levels of inequality in the world.
The Namibian Journal of Social Justice (NJSJ), Volume 1 was published by the Economic and Social Justice Trust (ESJT) and launched on the 3rd August 2021. The first volume of the NJSJ addresses Namibia's housing crisis.
