IntraHealth Namibia (IHN) is a non-profit organisation that was registered in July 2014, to improve access to quaLity health service and information for communities and families in need throughout Namibia. Our mission is to improve the lives of Namibia through the innovative health care, technology, and community partnerships. We contribute to Namibia's long-term development plans including Vision 2030; the National Development Plans and Harambee Prosperity Plan as pillars for social progress. The organisation is staffed with talented and experienced professionals who have implemented a range of successful projects in and beyond Namibia.

IHN, a trusted independent Namibian non-profit organisation, has experience in implementing various projects with great success, including assisting the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) in applying the WISN (Workload Indicators of Staffing Need) tool of the World Health Organization (WHO) to make evidence-based decisions regarding staffing norms, equitable deployment and distribution of staff, task shifting, and forecasting; supporting the collection, analysis, and use of data for advocacy, policy, planning, and decision-making, and developing capacity for national and local decision-makers to use data for better health outcomes;  leading the redesign, development, and rollout of an improved electronic patient management system (ePMS Quantum) which is used to manage clients on antiretroviral therapy, and gathers the data necessary to target high-burden HIV districts with focused, high-impact interventions. 

IHN is also part of a consortium of partners supporting the country to avert new HIV infections among adolescent girls and young women (AGYW), by providing age-specific SRH, GBV and HIV prevention services in a layered manner under the DREAMS project. The organisation is also supporting the country to rapidly accelerate the coverage of systematic, data-driven, KP-competent interventions to increase demand for and access to comprehensive HIV prevention and treatment services and interventions for KPs; strengthen the capacity and sustainability of civil society and other key stakeholders to advocate for and implement HIV activities for and by KPs; and strengthen data management and processes for planning, monitoring, and quality assurance of KP programs.
