NID - Invitation: Africa Youth Summit - 16 June 2021

UPDATE: Due to the uptrend of COVID-19 cases, the Namibia Institute for Democracy (NID) has decided to cancel in-person attendance for the upcoming African Youth Summit and hold the summit virtually via Zoom on June 16th, 12:00-15:00.

The event falls on the 25th anniversary of the Soweto Youth Uprising on the “International Day of the African Child” and NID will be discussing the long-term effects of youth political engagement as well as interrogate the absence of youth leadership across the African continent, among other topics.

The three speakers for this event will be Honorable Patience Masua, His Worship Dr Job Amupanda and Mx. Ndiilokelwa Nthengwe.
