Join the Young Feminists Movement (Y-Fem Namibia Trust) on 8 March 2023 for a peaceful protest, advocating for more effective protection which is inclusive of all bodies, as well as gender neutral language in the Combating Domestic Violence Act 6 of 2022.
The Y-Fem Namibia Trust will deliver the #EqualProtectionNamibia petition - which they started in May 2020 - to the Secretary of the National Assembly at 10:00 AM at Zoo Park.
The march will start at 08:00 AM from Zoo Park through Independence Avenue back and back to Zoo Park where there will be speeches, performances and the handing over of the petition.
