APRM - TARGETED REVIEW ON YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT IN NAMIBIA

Youth Unemployment has been identified as one of the serious development challenges facing Namibia and the African Continent. On November 17, 2021, the Targeted Review on Youth Unemployment was officially launched by His Excellency Dr Nangolo Mbumba, Vice-President of the Republic of Namibia.

Namibia completed the Targeted Review on Youth Unemployment in 2019 supported by the APRM Continental Secretariat. The Targeted Review Report was peer-reviewed by the African Peer Review Forum of Heads of State and Government on February 8th, 2020, in Addis Ababa.

The report provides a summary of the key highlights of the findings of the Targeted Review on Youth Unemployment in Namibia. The objective of the Targeted Review was to identify key issues on “Youth Unemployment” as a way to provide Namibia with a short, independent, credible and legitimate analysis of, and solutions to youth unemployment.
