The Ministry of Finance (MoF) recently released their latest Citizen's Guide to the National Budget FY2022/23 booklet. The 31-page booklet is available in softcopy on their website and as a hardcopy insert in today's, 8 April 2022, Namibian newspaper.
The booklet contains information on:
- What is the National Budget?;
- Why is the budget important?;
- Size of the National Budget;
- Distribution of the budget;
- Tax policy proposals;
- Income tax reforms; and
- Sin taxes.
All parts of the booklet are translated to Afrikaans, Damara/Nama, Otjiherero, Otjiwambo, Setswana and Silozi.
