The Arts Performance Centre (APC) is a Tsumeb-based Section 21 / Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) established in 2003. APC is the biggest centre built on Tsumeb Municipality premises with 17 huts for music, a repair workshop and a gallery where they offer visual arts products. APC provides a chance for street kids to escape crime and express their creativity.
APC depends mainly on donors for all the operating costs. Workers' salaries are from donors. They cater for the ages of 4 years to 60 years old person.
LESSONS in Visual - Arts, Dancing, Musical Instruments (Marimbas, String-and Brass-Instruments, Piano, Keyboard, Harp, all kind of recorders, Travers-Flute; Guitar, Cello, Drums, Drama, Trumpet, Clarinet, Saxophone, Music-Theory.)
They provide:
- Pre-Primary Musical Education (PPME),
- Musical Instruments Repair Workshop
- Art Gallery
- Event Performances
The APC Board consists of 9 members.
