Namibian National Association of the Deaf (NNAD)

The Namibian National Association of the Deaf  is a non profit organization that advocates for the rights, inclusion and empowerment of deaf people in Namibia. A welfare organisation registered with the Ministry of Health and Social Service WO:84, (1991) is an ordinary member of the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) that has a consultive seat on the UN. NNAD promotes the use of sign language, provide awareness and work to ensure equal access to education and public services for the deaf community. NNAD is a Namibian organization working to ensure equal Rights for 27000 Deaf Namibians.
