KAYEC runs leading nationwide programs to invest in the future of Namibian youth: vocational training for young Namibians who are out of work, and after-school centres to help adolescents stay off the street, remain in school, and build the skills they need to succeed. KAYEC began its after-school services in 2004, as part of Namibia’s International Youth Award, and renamed these the KAYEC Youth Development (KYD) programme in 2010.
