ReachOut Namibia Charity Foundation (RONA) is a nonprofit organization committed to improving education access and empowering underprivileged children across Namibia. Led by an executive team of seven young women, RONA drives five core initiatives:
- Back2School Campaign: Provides essential school supplies to students in need.
- PledgeAPad Campaign: Focuses on menstrual hygiene support for girls.
- Mentorship Program: Fosters personal growth and career development for youth.
- Star Performer Award: Celebrates academic excellence and piloted RONA’s scholarship program in 2023, awarding its first recipient.
- Random Acts of Kindness: Provides support to communities in need through various outreach activities.
Additionally, RONA is the National Host for the OSCARS Olympiads, promoting STEM education and critical skills development for Namibian youth.
These activities are implemented throughout the year, creating meaningful impact across the country. Volunteers are encouraged to join and contribute to making a difference in the lives of children and communities. RONA is dedicated to ensuring every Namibian child has the chance to thrive through education and support.
