Established in 2019, I Am Voting Namibia, now known as Social Enabled Education (SEE) Namibia, became the first youth organization accredited by the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN). Registered under the Ministry of Youth, Sport, and Culture, SEE Namibia provides voter and civic education to the general public. The organization's primary goal is to actively involve young people in democratic processes.
Since its inception, SEE Namibia has expanded and currently operates in 7 out of 14 regions across the country. It tirelessly works to ensure that all its volunteers gain relevant experience to integrate into the formal economy.
The organization observed both the presidential and National Assembly Elections in 2019, as well as the regional and local authorities’ elections in 2020. During the same period, it also observed and assisted in facilitating two political party elections and provided airtime for 12 youth leaders to air their perspectives on the elections on the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC).
