The event will take place at the House of Democracy, 70-72 Frans Indongo Street, Windhoek West. The event will also be live-streamed on the IPPR Namibia Facebook page.
The submission deadline for abstracts has been extended to 31 October 2021. Namibians are subject to multiple and intersecting forms of inequality and discrimination. The most obvious of these are inequalities based on income and wealth distribution. While the Gini coefficient shows a reduction in Namibia’s levels of inequality since independence, the country still has one of the highest levels of inequality in the world.
